|
Oak Hills Vaulters is one of only two Vaulting Clubs in the wonderful state of Utah. With us per your choice you have the opportunity to receive both individual and team vaulting experiences with mentors, coaches, and trainers who have a broad range of experience in Vaulting and a variety of other Equestrian sports. Because of our location and local support groups we can also refer you if so desired to other highly experienced Trainer's in many other Equestrian disciplines from Dressage, Jumping, English Pleasure Western etc. Vaulting is one of the best way's to build a confident foundation to any horse related activity.
Our goal is to bring up the community through teamwork and a higher self confidence in all of our members and their families.
We were established in the late 1960's by Mary Ann Ford and Bill Biggs. KyLynn, the head coach is the granddaughter of Mary Ann and continues to contribute to the advancement of the club, and the sport. Oak Hills currently has more than 45 vaulters and members ranging in all
ages from three to fifty-five, as well as six recreational and up to four competition level horses.
We provide all levels of classes at the walk, trot, and canter levels to fit your personal needs, as well as perform and hold many vaulting demonstrations throughout the state of Utah.
As a club we also compete individually and as a team at many Regional and National level events
throughout the United States.

Venece has traveled all over the U.S. to gain the latest training they have to offer. Horse: Ferrari
Ferrari was donated to us by Barbra Sloan 2 years ago, coming into the vaulting world after a long career in Dressage. He has been a vaulting horse for about 3 years now, carrying vaulters of levels. Ferrari is about 17' 2" hands and is a Dutch Warm blood. He is defiantly the 'teddy bear' of the group and absolutely adores the kids, especially the youngest ones. Ferrari's favorite part of vaulting is the hugs and treats at the end of the class! He will be carrying our 2008 B team to both Regional and National Championships this coming summer!

Domingo is one of our newest vaulting horses, yet one of our most talented. He is 6 years old, 17' 2" hands and a beautiful Andalusian/Warm Blood cross. Domingo has experience in Dressage as well as Jumping. He entered the competition ring for the first time in 07 where he carried our bronze and silver vaulters to both Regional and National championships.

|
Stewart is our newest addition to the team. Coming to Oak Hills last spring, he entered the competition with us in 07, helping many of our ladies to bring home National titles. He is a 17' 2" hand Belgian with lots of room up top! He is currently a great 'trot' vaulting horse but will soon be making his way up to a 'canter' horse, carrying our B Team Freestyle all the way to the National Championships this year in August. He is owned by 2 vaulters: Hannah and Holly Crumpton.

|
Da'vid was donated to us by Riverbend Sundowner Trailers and is currently now owned and trained by Anna Tidwell. Da'vid is a fantastic Warm Blood who is used by most of our advanced level vaulters in competitions all over the Nation. Da'vid was borrowed to another great team in the AVA to help carry their winning A Team to many National level titles.
