Vaulting is one of seven disciplines recognized by the Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI). Our mission is to promote the sport of vaulting to people of all ages and abilities across the state of Utah. Oak Hills Vaulters is the oldest team in the state and is one of the largest and oldest vaulting clubs in the nation. Experienced, qualified coaches paired with safe and reliable horses are sure to cater to every person's need, whether they are young or young at heart. The best part? You don't even have to own your own horse!
Oak Hills Vaulters was established in the late 1960's under the direction and owner of Oak Hills Stables, MaryAnn Ford. Today Oak Hills Vaulters is a registered club under the American Vaulting Association. Oak Hills Vaulters takes pride in the training of their staff. Every coach, lungeur, and horse must complete a rigorous certification program before taking on their own class. Check out the links to learn more about our staff!
Oak Hills Vaulters competes all over the country and have won numerous awards, sporting many Regional and National champions throughout the years. We coach and train competitive individuals as well as teams. Vaulters will have the opportunity to compete at the local, regional, and national level.
Don't want to compete? No problem! We have classes that are designed specifically for the vaulter that just wants to have fun while learning skills such as balance, coordination, horsemanship, and physical fitness.

We are currently working to launch a therapeutic vaulting program. This class will focus on building and promoting essential life skills such as self confidence, teamwork, coordination, and perseverance among its participants. Coach Cami Swan will use her skills from her education in outdoor recreation to facilitate learning experiences by utilizing the therapeutic aspect of horses paired with the challenge of vaulting to promote higher self worth and learning opportunities.
This class is for those who do not want to commit to weekly practices, but rather come and go as they please. Our 2013 Fall Session of this class is held on Thursdays from 6:00-7:30 pm. The price for this class is $10 for members and $15 for nonmembers. Coaches and lungeurs will supervise the class and answer any questions you may have. Otherwise, the horses, barrel, and workout equipment are yours to practice on at will. *Note: This class is held in sessions only and the time may change. Please send us an email to verify times!*
In the past, we have offered clinics to pony clubs, schools, and birthday parties all over the Wasatch Front. As long as there is enough room for a lungeing circle with soft, dry footing we can travel to you! Please contact us for more information on pricing.
Gymnastics on Horseback Association (GOHA) is a team comprised of talented equestrians that specialize in performance vaulting for hire. GOHA is formed from Oak Hills Vaulters' top athletes and performers. Tryouts are held every year for the opportunity to be a part of the GOHA Tour Team or GOHA Reserve Team.
